Name: Selkie Class: Shinigami Location: An open area within the forest Forecast: Sunny Challenger: Masataka
Selkie was in an open area in the forest looking for someone to fight. He looked and looked but he saw no one worth fighting with. He came across one person who looked like he was worthy to spar with. He walked over to him and introduced himself.
Hello. My name is Selkie and I'm in the 5th division. Would you like to have a little spar right here and now?
Selkie asked the person. He seemed to be a Ryoka from what he could tell. He waited patiently for his response.

Name: Masataka Takayanagi Class: Ryoka Location: An open area within the forest Forecast: Sunny Challenger:selkie
A nice day like this, too bad that it would be wasted amongst the sins of this world. There isn't enough justice in this world, enough justice to fix anything that has happened.
Masataka was reclining in his suite, the gaping windows were large and filled with the bright sunshine of the world. The Takayanagi Tower rested high above most of the other buildings in the area, and such, gave him an excellent view of the whole town, even the whole county. His thick boots rested lightly on the table, neatly crossed though at anyone walking in it would be something disrespectful. And, despite anyone who decided to enter without telling him, even if they did alert him, he would remain in such a position, staring out the window. A small flock of birds flew by, but one lacked behind the group, something he felt pity for at first, but it left as soon as it came. His life was nothing more than a shell now, and it wasn't forced to leave. The feeling was, just a feeling. It had no more impact than a piece of paper handed to him.
At that moment, someone walked in, without giving any kind of pre notification. He already was in some trouble for that, but the next thing he reported was also disturbing. Disturbing enough for him to dismiss his behavior, and walk out to the indicated spot. Something, some kind of disturbance was destroying parts of the city. He fully knew what it was, and it was something that would take mere seconds to dispose of. He lifted his feet off the table but before he took his eyes off the window, something passed by. Someone in a dark robe, a strange robe infact..
He disposed the hollow in seconds, that wasn't the problem, the problem was, who was that person. He followed the trail that he had last seen, something he had become more accustomed to from watching hollows. It traced into a forest, where he found someone, there standing. He waved it off, the expectation of his forthcoming, and listened to what this person had to say. This strangely clothed man was different from anything else, he had never seen anyone like this before. Though, he had a spirit thread, a different color at that, that significantly differentiated him from the rest. He had some things to clear up with this person before anything else.
"You're...in the what?... What are you.. your spiritual pressure is much different..than anything i've faced.

Selkie was surprised by this man's reaction. He carried a sword, a zanpacto none the less, and he didn't know who a shinigami was? Apparently you've never met a shinigami before? Hence the reaction you just did. Anyway it doesn't matter. I'll ask one more time. Are you interested in a little spar here and now? Selkie asked the man. He still waited patiently for his response.

to clarify, Mastaka does NOT carry a sword with him. Only when he enters magabarai form does a sword appear at his will.
A shinigami? heh, this is the famed reapers that perform the the proper burials for souls.
Very well, shinigami, I shall spar with you.
Masataka eyed the pysique of this.. this soul. By no means did this soul look anything like the other souls. He was much clearer, and no doubtedly had some power behind the blank face he held. Something else bugged his mind though, just the fact that a Soul Reaper, supposedly the saviours of souls, would want to fight with a human. Is he trying to lure Masataka into a trap of some sort? Could this reaper be, in actuallity, one who disobeys the laws set upon by the Heavans?
By all means, he knew that souls wouldn't ascend to the skies, and further to the heavens. No, souls were sent elsewhere, otherwise he would have seen countless numbers of souls ascending the clouds. These soul reapers had something to do with it, probably, as well as those monsters that he finds so frequently. He sighed, it was nearing the end of his break anyway, and instead of training, he could fight this shinigami for a change. It would only help him improve in real time combat, as if he really needed it...
If anything, the odds were against the Soul Reaper. He didn't know enough about them to make any conclusions, but fighting in Earth was definately something that would put a drawback against him. Not just that, but they'd have to worry about the countless civilians that could wander around. He on the other hand, was still human, and even though he had a chance to become a plus, he probably knew that from his history, he'd be sent to hell. Murder, whether purposeful or not, is still a terrible crime.
He spread his feet on the ground, the grass and the dirt gathered around the soles of his feet. He held one hand by his waist, already clenched in a fist, the other raised at him, his fingers curling over and his palm showing it's dense glow of both Ki and reiatsu. His eyes were fierce, and anyone with the slightest observation would have seen the ever so slight darkening of his hair.

(well make him go into that phase so he can...its only fun if he has one...otherwise i'll mopthe floor with him)
Selkie saw that he was ready to fight, but the fact that he didn't have a sword with him made Selkie unsatisfied. He looked at him, now with a disappointed look on his face. Why don't you draw your sword? Do you think you can beat me without it, is that it? If not then draw it already. I won't strike until you have a sword in your hands.
